1. Your name, function and nearest train station:
Name: Alexandra Haas
Function: Inside the project, I contribute to the Webnovel as literary advisor and co-organize events in and around the Cologne / Bonn / Koblenz region. Outside the project, I am a lecturer of English at Bonn University and Remagen RheinAhrCampus. Nearest train station: Bonn-Beuel. You might never have heard about it, but there's a second train station in Bonn on the right side of the Rhine (the main line goes along the left side). Which means: very few trains, usually on time.

2. your favourite (train) station & activities on trains:
My favourite train station used to be Bruehl, near Cologne, as it is set on the outskirts of an 18th century castle. I lived right next to it for four years and very much enjoyed the luxury of a train station and castle gardens within walking distance. But I have to admit that the effect was somehow spoiled by the major accident that happened at the station a few weeks after I moved away last year. My favourite activity on a train definitely is 'reading for pleasure' as I hardly ever find the time during the day. That's why I tend to read novels in 30-minute bits (Bonn-Cologne) with some 15-minute bits in-between (Bonn-Remagen).
3. your mission & vision:
I always start out following one mission single-mindedly, but then other interesting things come up and I simply have to include them. I definitely go for multi-tasking. What I like best about the project is the fact that it is already many-stranded in itself and that people from different backgrounds contribute to it. Doing creative as well as organisational work in all kinds of areas comes very close to my vision of how I'd like to work.
4. arrivals and departures: (where you are and where you want to go to, private and / or professional):
At the moment, I am in-between arrivals and departures. I've already started on several journeys, e.g. project work, teaching and a Ph.D. thesis, but I am not quite sure where they will lead me. Ideally, the lines might converge at some point and I'll be able to integrate all of them into my timetable. Personally, I'm enjoying the current course of my journey very much, though I know that at some junction I might have to decide what line to follow.
